Alfred is the driving force behind our little group.
You might already know, Alfred was born and raised in Zimbabwe and went to Mavhurazi Primary for the first part of his education. The kids didn’t have any books to read there (and still don’t), and that’s what led to Alfred coming up with the idea to collect books and build libraries in rural schools in Zimbabwe.
Alfred is now a PhD graduate working as a research engineer in Wollongong. He is also a new dad! He loves reading and teaching, and in his spare time (!!) he tutors high school students in maths and chemistry.
Alfred is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children from his village. BUT he is also very excited about the prospect of changing lives back in Australia (Blessed is the hand that gives).
Can we also donate books to a school of my choice?? InZimbabwe??
